Over our history, we always strive to have our team and our creative work represent the broader culture. This means having an intentional focus on including people of color, veterans, LGBTQ+, people from different faiths, cultures, and religions, single dads, women returning to work after raising children...from brand new citizens to those whose family came over on the Mayflower, and both junior protegés and sage experienced talent.
We believe that our team should reflect the communities we work in, in every way. It’s at the heart and soul of our culture at Magnet to view the challenges our clients present to us from as many perspectives as we are privileged to tap into. We value the points of view of all team members, and respecting one another is a mandate for every interaction, creative debate, and conversation.
We all are imperfect humans, fumbling forward, and do not pretend to have all the answers. But with that behavior-based guide in mind, we regularly audit ourselves in transparent, open sessions to ensure our behavior is aligned with our stated values.
One of our original values (since our inception in 2000) that remains with us to this day is continuous improvement. We’ve committed to improve and progress, not alongside, but hopefully ahead of, the broader industry in thinking through how we represent the needs of our team and our community.
