Joseph D'Amato

Joseph is the senior accountant at Magnet. He oversees the finance department, with responsibilities ranging from accounts payable and billing to budgeting, forecasting and payroll. He also assists with tasks outside of finance, supporting general operations and coordinating team events.

He enjoys working to improve internal workflows and improve team collaboration. Since joining Magnet in 2015, Joseph has seen the company grow and lead the charge on the always-changing landscape of the media industry.

Born in Long Island and raised in New York City, Joseph enjoys exploring all that the city has to offer. He graduated from Manhattan College, where he received both his Bachelors and Masters of business administration degrees in accounting after completing a competitive dual-degree program. While a graduate student, Joseph was inducted into several prestigious honors societies and was inspired by his coursework to volunteer as a tax return preparer in his community. His education and experiential training motivated him to pursue his career in finance and accounting.

In his free time, Joseph enjoys video games, photography, and catching up on his favorite shows. He also likes visiting the newest exhibits at NYC’s many well-known museums.
