An off-road broadcast
Magnet produced a live digital broadcast featuring Toyota's newest 4Runner model off-roading through the uneven terrain of the California desert, while also answering audience questions live.
Toyota wanted to do something that hadn’t been done before: a live digital broadcast featuring its newest 4Runner model off-roading through the uneven terrain of the California desert, while also answering audience questions live and responding to each not with words, but by showcasing the car’s capabilities. Magnet partnered with Saatchi & Saatchi LA to produce a first-ever off-road Google+Hangout On Air, featuring celebrity stunt driver Andy Bell and Top Gear host Rutledge Wood. The hour-long broadcast featured a multi-camera and internet uplink in a customized off-road course, as over 10,000 viewers logged on to view or submit questions.
