The Plug predicts what's next
For The Plug, a tech newsletter covering Black startups and entrepreneurs, hosting an event couldn't be an ordinary experience.
The Plug, a tech newsletter focused on Black startups and entrepreneurs, aimed to deliver a unique and impactful virtual experience at their Evolution of Next summit, fostering authentic conversations on Black leadership, workforce, and entrepreneurship. To achieve this, they partnered with Magnet, which developed a cohesive event strategy connecting speakers, sponsors, and attendees across social media and the virtual summit. Magnet’s work included scripting a seamless run of show, facilitating sponsor connections, and creating interactive elements that elevated engagement. The result was a full-day virtual event with panels, keynotes, and networking, leaving attendees eager for more opportunities to connect and engage with the community.
